Gridlock Run Privacy

Short version: Google sign-in is optional and is used only to prove ownership of a player profile. Gridlock Run never asks Google for access to Gmail, Drive, your crypto wallet, seed phrase, or private keys.

Information used by the game

Gridlock Run stores the public player name you choose, internal profile and security identifiers, public game results, race statistics, tickets, duels, tournament records, and information needed to prevent abuse. When you voluntarily use SOL features, the game may also process the public wallet address and public transaction signature you provide.

Optional Google sign-in

If you continue with Google, Google supplies a signed identity token. The server verifies it and stores a one-way hash of Google's stable account identifier so it can return you to the same Gridlock Run profile. The raw Google identifier, your Google password, email contents, contacts, Gmail, and Drive files are not stored or accessed by Gridlock Run. A private Gridlock Run recovery code remains available as a backup and as the non-Google option.

Optional Vehicle Studio

Vehicle Studio offers a manual editor and optional AI generation. Manual designs are created in your browser from the body, proportions, paint colors, glass tint, and livery you select. If you choose AI generation, your vehicle description is sent through our hosting provider’s AI service to Google’s image-generation service to create vehicle artwork and a matching victory image. Do not include private information in a vehicle description. Generation requests and their results are associated with your game profile so you can retrieve and save them. When you save a design, Gridlock Run stores the finished 96 × 192 game sprite and its victory artwork. Saved vehicle artwork is public in races, replays, profiles, and victory screens and is stored under an anonymous asset identifier.

Why the information is used

The information is used to operate profiles and races, enforce ticket and prize rules, show public game information, prevent duplicate claims and cheating, investigate reports, maintain security, and provide player support. Private administrative details and private recovery credentials are not included in public profile results.

Service providers

Gridlock Run uses Google Identity Services for optional Google sign-in and Netlify for site hosting, server functions, and storage. Their handling of information is governed by their own policies. Gridlock Run does not sell player information.

Your choices

You can play free modes without linking Google or a wallet. You can secure a player name with a private recovery code instead of Google. For profile help or a deletion request, contact Gridlock Run through its official X or Discord channels.

Safety

Never share a wallet seed phrase, private key, Google password, or Gridlock Run recovery code. Gridlock Run support will not ask for them.
